Summer in a nutshell! (picture overload)

Here is how we spent our summer!

Of course you have to start out the summer by jumping on the trampoline naked, its always so much fun! Not that I do it myself, but it looks like fun anyway. (I hope that you cannot see anything in this picture, sorry if you can)

We celebrated 3 of our four boys birthdays. Kydons was in May and he is now 6, Krues was in June and he is now 2 (terrible...I mean terrific) and Coles was in August and he is now 5. Keo will turn 1 in September. I let the older boys decorate their own cake this year (I helped a little)

Kydons dinosaur and volcano cake

Krues Elmo cake

Coles Lego cake

We also took a fun trip to Bear Lake. I love it there. It is so much fun for the kids.

I am glad I am a little meaty, this is what happens when you are skinny!!

Keo had a fever of 104 and was vomiting so we had to take him to the hospital for the 2nd time this year (because of his GA1) We spent 4 days there. He was okay, he had to stay till his fever was gone and he was eating. I have a new respect for parents who have to stay with children in the hospital for months! It is hard! Even though he was fine it is hard to see your child in that atmosphere. And to see other children there is so heartbreaking.

We went to the Hogle Zoo and got to ride "the miracle ride" (miracle as in Merry-Go and ride as in Round) as Ky and Cole were calling it.
Honestly, who puts a turkey on the Merry-Go-Round. Have you ever heard a child say that a turkey is there favorite animal!

This was suppose to be our first real camping trip (I know, I know. We have never been camping before) But it helps if your husband remembers to bring the TENT!!! Luckily my mother-n-law came up with their camper so we had a place to sleep. We went to Meadow Lake, it was sooo beautiful. The boys even caught a fish.

We always go to Island Park to my In-Laws cabin. The boys wish they could live up there.

And our last trip of the summer was to Las Vegas. My husband wishes these were the only two people that went. J/K It was such a long time in the car for the kids, but we did have fun.

We went to the Tournament of Kings and the kids L-O-V-E-D it. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a show at the Excalibur. They serve you a dinner that you have to eat with your hands and then they have knights and kings and horses and they fight and joust and stuff like that. I don't even think my boys ate because they were so into it. They did not even speak the whole time. Okay they said a few things. Cole - "Mom, where did they get those real swords" , "they really killed the king, Mom". Krue "Fire, dangerous". They were so funny.

They got to get a picture with the Knights afterward. They would not let you take pictures inside the arena.

Afterward, Daddy bought them their own knight costume.

What a fun Dad, they did this for so long. I thought we were going to get in trouble because they were so loud.

The next morning they were exhausted. I don't know how they all ended up in the same bed.

Krue and Keo had fun playing in the water from our melted ice in our cooler.

We also went to the Mandalay Bay Aquarium.
This is what you let the kids do in the Casino to run their energy out. Up and back and up and back.
Ky was so exhausted that he fell asleep at dinner.
Here is my boys and my girl, wait I don't have a girl, but she could be. My brother and sister both live in Las Vegas. So my boys got to play with their cousins. (don't mind my nephew grabbing himself)
And Ky lost his other front tooth at the hotel. The tooth fairy even came to the hotel and left him some money! He is missing both front teeth now!

It was so hot there, but it was nice because we could go the water park at 9 o'clock at night.
That about wraps up our summer. I think we are ready to start school on Monday. One more thing, does anyone know if they have school for two year olds? Mom needs a break!!
