Keo

I just wanted to post a little update on Keo since I haven't posted anything for a while. At his last appointment, he had a MRI on his brain to see if he had any degeneration. We were there for about 7 hours, but everything went really well. As far as we know everything looks really good. He is doing really well. We are working on smiling and cooing and we have gotten a few smile and a few coos. (It is amazing how a little smile or sound can mean so much :)) He is growing so fast and he is such a little chub. So far the outlook is looking really good. We just got past are first round of sickness and are doing well. Our next hurtle is his first set of shots. (babies can get fevers so we have to keep him medicated and watch him really well for a couple of days)

Keo has been such a blessing and we love him so much. He has made my realize how blessed I have been and what a wonderful family I have.

Real Books

Yesterday Kydon kept asking me if we could make "real books" (his teacher writes books, so I think that is where he got the idea). So for FHE I thought we would make "real books". This was so fun. We all made our own little book and then we read them to each other. Coles story was big Jack and the beanstalk. Kydons story was called 100 Animals. One of his pages was of me in the garden (yeah right) and I was picking flowers and apples. It was so cute. My book was about four special little boys. Chris's was really cute. At first when I told him what we were doing, I thought he would think it was dumb, but he surprised me. His book was about a King and four Princes that had to rescue the Queen from an Ogre (or a gremlin as Cole called it). The boys liked his the best. Cole took it to bed with him. This was way fun and it will be fun to keep these and look back when the boys are older. If you need an idea for FHE you should try this!!!!!

Halloween

I know I am a little behind at getting this posted but oh well! Here are some pictures of our fun Halloween holiday! I am sorry my children are often posted with little or no clothes on, but hey they are boys, they get dirty. What do you expect! We carved pumpkins ( I carved pumpkins). The boys told me what kind of a face they wanted and I tried my best! Ky wanted his to be missing teeth like him and Cole wanted his with a scary mouth and a moustache and eyebrows.
Kydon was Wolverine and Cole was Iron Man. Krue was a frog and Keo was a little bear. I think they were all so cute! Funny little story though. We went to dinner at Sizzler before we went trickor treating. If the kids wore their costumes the got a free dinner. Anyway, on our way home I hear the boys fighting in the back seat, and I thought " I don't want to hear this, I am just going to ignore it" So for a few minutes I pretend I don't hear Kydon crying. Then finally he says "Mom, look what Cole did to me" I look back and he had blood running all down his face and all over his costume. Cole had punched him right in the nose. So Ky had to wear his costume with blood all over it. Boys!
